Virginia Lemon Law
The Lemon Law in the state of Virginia was introduced in July, 1984 and amended in 1994 and pertains to many types of motor vehicles purchased or leased in the state of Virginia for use on public highways. Certain vehicles are exempted from the Virginia Lemon Law and you should check with a Virginia Lemon Law attorney if you are unsure.
If your vehicle is under 18 months old and has had one serious, unresolved safety defect, or has been under repair three times, or out of service for 30 calendar days or more, you should speak with a Virginia Lemon Law attorney for advice on filing a lawsuit to obtain a new vehicle.
