South Dakota Lemon Law
The Lemon Law in the state of South Dakota was introduced in July, 1993 and pertains to new cars and motorbikes sold in the state of South Dakota for use on public highways. Certain vehicles are exempted from the South Dakota Lemon Law, including trucks over 10,000lkbs GVW; and you should check with a South Dakota Lemon Law attorney if you are unsure.
If your vehicle is less than one year old, or has not yet completed 12,000 miles, whichever occurs first, and has been under repair four times, including a final repair attempt, you should speak with a South Dakota Lemon Law attorney for advice on filing a lawsuit to obtain a new vehicle.
