South Carolina Lemon Law

The Lemon Law in the state of South Carolina was introduced in October, 1989 and pertains to motor vehicles sold in the state of South Carolina for use on public highways. Certain vehicles are exempted from the South Carolina Lemon Law, including living facilities on motor homes; and you should check with a South Carolina Lemon Law attorney if you are unsure.

If your vehicle is less than one year old, or has not yet completed 12,000 miles, whichever occurs first, and has been under repair three times, or has been out of service for 30 calendar days or more, you should speak with a South Carolina Lemon Law attorney for advice on filing a lawsuit to obtain a new vehicle.
