North Carolina Lemon Law

The Lemon Law in the state of North Carolina was introduced in October, 1987 and pertains to motor vehicles sold or leased in the state of North Carolina for use on public highways. Certain vehicles are exempted from the North Carolina Lemon Law, including trucks over 10,000lbs GVW; and you should check with a North Carolina Lemon Law attorney if you are unsure.

If your vehicle is under express warranty, or is less than two years old, or has completed less than 24,000mls, whichever is the greater, and has been under repair four times, or has been out of service for 20 days or more, you should speak with a North Carolina Lemon Law attorney for advice on filing a lawsuit to obtain a new vehicle.
