New York Lemon Law

The Lemon Law in the state of New York was introduced in September, 1983 and amended in 1990 and 2004 and pertains to motor vehicles purchased, leased, transferred or registered in the state of New York for use on public highways. Certain vehicles are exempted from the New York Lemon Law and you should check with a New York Lemon Law attorney if you are unsure.

If your vehicle is under two years old, or has completed less than 18,000mls, and has been under repair four times, or has been out of service for 30 calendar days or more, you should speak with a New York Lemon Law attorney for advice on filing a possible lawsuit to obtain a new vehicle.
