New Jersey Lemon Law

The Lemon Law in the state of New Jersey was introduced in June, 1983 and amended in 1993 and pertains to passenger automobiles or motorcycles leased, purchased or registered in the state of New Jersey for use on public highways. Certain vehicles are exempted from the New Jersey Lemon Law, including the living facilities of motor homes; and you should check with a New Jersey Lemon Law attorney if you are unsure.

If your vehicle is under two years old, or has completed less than 18,000mls, whichever occurs first, and has been under repair three times, or has been out of service for 20 calendar days or more, you should speak with a New Jersey Lemon Law attorney for advice on filing a possible lawsuit to obtain a new vehicle.
