Montana Lemon Law

The Lemon Law in the state of Montana was introduced in October, 1983 and amended in 1991 and pertains to new passenger vehicles for use on public highways. Certain vehicles are exempted from the Montana Lemon Law, including trucks over 10,000lbs GVW; and you should check with a Montana Lemon Law attorney if you are unsure.

If your vehicle is under two years old, or has completed less than 18,000mls, whichever comes first, and has been under repair four times, or has been out of service for 30 business days or more, then you should speak with a Montana Lemon Law attorney for advice on filing a lawsuit to obtain a new vehicle.
