Maine Lemon Law
The Lemon Law in the state of Maine was introduced in October, 1983 and amended in 1991 and pertains to new vehicles sold or leased in Maine for personal or commercial use on public highways. Certain vehicles are exempted from the Maine Lemon Law, including commercial vehicles over a certain weight, and you should check with a Maine Lemon Law attorney if you are unsure.
If your vehicle is under 18 months old or has completed under 18,000mls, whichever occurs first, and has been under repair three times, or has been out of service for 15 business days or more, then you should speak with a Maine Lemon Law attorney for advice on filing a lawsuit to obtain a new vehicle.
