Louisiana Lemon Law

The Lemon Law in the state of Louisiana was introduced in August 1984 and amended in 1992 and pertains to vehicles sold in Louisiana for personal use on public highways. Certain vehicles are exempted from Louisiana Lemon Law, including vehicles over 10,000lbs gross vehicle weight, and you should check with a Louisiana Lemon Law attorney if you are unsure.

If your vehicle is under express warranty, or under one year old, and has been under repair four times or has been out of service for 30 calendar days or more, then you should speak with a Louisiana Lemon Law attorney for advice on filing a lawsuit to obtain a new vehicle.
