Georgia Lemon Law
The Lemon Law in the state of Georgia was introduced in July, 1990 and pertains to commercial vehicles that were leased or purchased in Georgia for personal use on public highways. Certain vehicles are exempted from Georgia Lemon Law, including trucks over 10,000lbs gross vehicle weight, and you should check with a Georgia Lemon Law attorney.
If your vehicle is under 12 months old or completed less than 12,000mls, whichever occurs first, and has had one repair attempt for a serious safety defect in the braking or steering system, has been under repair three times and has been out of service for 30 calendar days or more, then you should speak with a Georgia Lemon Law attorney for advice on filing a lawsuit to obtain a new vehicle.
