California Lemon Law

The Lemon Law in the state of California was introduced in January 1983 and later amended in 1990, 1992 and 2001. It pertains to vehicles that are intended solely for personal, family or household use and are in operation on public highways. Certain parts of motor homes are also included, although motorcycles are excluded.

If your vehicle is less than 18 months old, or has done under 18,000mls and has been repaired twice or been out of service for 30 days or more, then you should speak with a California Lemon Law attorney for advice on filing a lawsuit to obtain a new vehicle.
