Car Rental USA
The USA is driving country per se; the roads are excellent, the landscapes outstanding, fuel is relatively cheap and there is just so much to see. Although public transport is excellent in the States, buses and trains don’t reach every corner of the country, whereas roads do. Going the car rental route certainly makes sense.
Exploring the USA
Car Rental New England:
Those interested in car rental in New England will not be disappointed as the region is extremely diverse, where historic towns, pretty coastline and rolling hills combine to offer great driving. Major sights are Martha’s Vineyard, Boston, Long Island, and of course New York City. Major interstate highways run the length of the Eastern seaboard, taking in the likes of Atlantic City, Chesapeake Bay, and Atlanta before dipping into Florida.
Car Rental Florida
America’s most popular destination for residents and visitors alike offers cheap car rental and a myriad of world class attractions, from the bustling Disney resorts near Orlando, to the sublime Florida Keys in the south and the awesome Everglades National Park nearby. Fly-drive packages are very popular in Florida, although car rental rates are still very reasonable for those walking in off the street.
Car Rental The Great Lakes
There are several good reasons for car rental in the Great Lakes region of the United States: you have the mega cities of Chicago and Detroit and the scenic beauty of the lakes themselves, while the imposing Black Hills in the Dakotas lie to the west of the region. Continuing west from here, the driving experience is surreal with big skies and unending prairie land.
Car Rental The Rockies
For those wanting to explore the Rocky Mountains renting a car is a necessity if you want to explore the wilds of Idaho for instance. Salt Lake City, host to the Winter Olympics, is one of the most visited cities in the region, while the ‘Mile High City’ of Denver is the gateway to some of the world’s best ski resorts.
California
California is quite simply the ultimate American driving experience, with the popular highway 1 and 101 running along the length of the Pacific coastline passing through the likes of Monterey and San Francisco. Yosemite National Park is perhaps the most endearing natural attraction in the State, while in nearby Nevada is Las Vegas, the gambling capital of the world.
